Hiroko has played at venues around Japan, the UK and even further afield for international competitions. She has been teaching privately for 8 years, from introducing complete beginners to coaching post grade 8 performers.

I have been visiting Hiroko Ueno for piano lessons since January 2015. Although at the time a complete beginner on the piano I did have experience playing other instruments. She very quickly assessed my abilities and applicable musical experience and immediately tailored her teaching approach to fit my requirements. Hiroko always sets the right level of study in order to keep the lessons challenging but achievable and as such my playing has progressed faster than I thought possible.

When Hiroko Ueno came to the Rikkyo School at only 12 years old, she was already an accomplished pianist and we immediately included her in our Big Anniversary concert at The Queen Elizabeth Hall. During her time there with us she performed in all the school concerts and accompanied all the instrumentalists as she was such a good sight reader even then.
I have known Hiroko a long time now and have followed her musical career with interest as she has a lot of talent.
